What does mousse have to do with music? From Nicky Romero to Martin Garrix to DJ Hardwell, it seems like every DJ of the last few years has sported a serious pompadour. We use the term loosely, of course, since no DJ we know of has achieved the formidable dimensions of Madame de Pompadour’s gravity-defying updo.

Dangerous Minds went looking for the biggest, brashest pompadours they could find, culminating in a list that includes everyday trendsetters and legendary performers. All who knew the power of pomade.

But you don’t need heavy hair to drop a heavy beat. The only thing you need, really, is to sign up for an introductory class at The Foxgrove.
